The Plain Black
Our best-selling strap, and the one we’d point to as our finest piece of industrial design. Recycled automotive seatbelt webbing, vegan end tabs, and nothing on it that doesn’t need to be there.
Real seatbelt, not cheap nylon
Most mass-produced straps use thin nylon webbing. We use recycled automotive seatbelt webbing instead — material engineered to hold a body in a car crash, so it is not going to let go of your guitar. It adjusts smooth and easy and it will not fray at the edges the way nylon does.
We also cut it about six inches longer than an average strap, for players who are bigger or who like to wear it low.
Two layers doing the work of one thick one
Our own die-cut vegan end tabs are heavy-duty automotive upholstery vinyl on the outside, backed by a layer of carbon fiber cloth on the inside for strength without bulk. The back tab carries three hand-tooled stainless steel rivets; the front is sewn on with a sturdy x-box stitch, and even the keyholes are sewn around for extra strength.

Goes with literally everything
Flat matte black, no print, no hardware finish to clash with anything. It disappears against denim, leather, or a black stage kit, and it never fights the guitar for attention.

Best Plain Black Guitar Strap
Instead of the cheap nylon webbing most mega-production Chinese-made strap makers use, we use recycled automotive seatbelt webbing that that will never break, looks great, and adjusts extra easy and smooth. We also cut the strap about 6 inches longer than the average guitar strap for those who are bigger or who like to play low.
We then sew on our own special vegan end-tabs that are die-cut and made of heavy duty automotive upholstery vinyl on the outside, and further strengthened by another layer of super sturdy and flexible carbon fiber cloth on the inside of the strap. Like all our vinyl guitar straps this black guitar strap also has a trio of handtooled stainless steel rivets on the back tab and the front end tab is sewn on with a sturdy x-box stitch for an ultra sleak look and now features sewing around the keyholes for even more strength.
