The 70's Chevy Truck Blue Slimfold Wallet - With Snap

This could be the slimmest, strongest billfold wallet that we have ever made! Like our classic full sized snap wallet, this wallet allows you to keep your money and receipts in the the full sized billfold compartment for easy access. By removing the snap, not only gave this wallet a slimmer profile, but this sweet vintage vinyl we've discovered is extra thin yet still super strong. Thin and strong? YUP!
When we found this 40 year old super strong plaid vinyl in an old automotive upholstery warehouse. This type of plaid monochrome upholstery was used by lots of American auto manufactures in the 1970's, particularly in the Ford Truck and The Chevrolet Highlander Trucks of the era. Although different patterns and shades were used throughout the years, we did find this great vintage ad and interior pic to give you an idea what we're talking about.
We cut these wallets on a bias with our 16 ton die press to give the plaid an even cooler look and inspired by the photos shown, we chose a white vinyl pocket to really bring this authentic material to life. Even though this is about the slimmest full-sized wallet you'll find, these still hold a lot of stuff- you can get up to about 12 cards in the pockets plus plenty of bills and receipts in the large pocket. The low cut front pockets allow easy full view and access for your ID, which we find works better than those clear "ID holders" that yellow and crack with time and most doormen and cops make you take your ID out anyway.
