Vintage 1970's early 1980's Detroit automotive American car seat vinyl sewn onto new automotive upholstery vinyl backing and vegan leather end tabs for a killer light blue guitar strap. Handmade in our California Workshop with custom steel hardware. The end tabs are hand die cut here on a 16 ton press and then the strap is sewn together for action. Our vinyl experts dated this awesome perforated vintage automotive vinyl to the mid 1970's when American Muscle Cars like El Caminos, Dodge Chargers, Firebirds and Torinos ruled the pavement. This guitar strap captures that vibe for sure! The "Detroit Book" of American Auto Vinyl confirms this type of perforated auto vinyl was used in a lot of American cars of the era including El Caminos. This is a brand new color of this classic pattern we recently found at an abandoned warehouse in Downtown L.A. This aqua metallic hue bright crisp and clean and it's classic Detroit automotive color goes great with most guitar finishes, check it here for instance with Olympic White. Of course it's also a great guitar strap match for Daphne Blue, Sonic Blue, Mystic Ice Blue and so on.
