If you're looking for a cool checkered camera strap you're in the right place. Introducing the 80's American Checkers checkered Camera Strap from Couch. This 30 year old vintage deadstock automotive upholstery fabric was found at one of our favorite old car supply warehouses in downtown LA where it had been sitting around since about the time Reagan was president. This type of checkered fabric was used in some mid 1980's Ford cars like the Brougham and Mercury Topaz, and according to the guys at the shop, also GMC's and of course started showing up in the are with checkered Vans Shoes. Now we're not sure why there was never a Vans Camera Strap made of similar checkers, but we've re-purposed this vintage fabric to make a great looking repurposed checkered camera strap with a great story so the need has been fullfilled by Couch. The high contrast pattern is a very muted blue mixed with grey, and the whole velour camera strap will look darker or lighter based on the angle you're viewing it from. Get yourself together and get you one of these camera straps while you still can! Also available in Dark Red and as a guitar strap.
