GMC Guitar Pick Holder Keychain

Everything we make at Couch starts out with us creating a product we could really use ourselves. It seems we could never find our guitar picks when at a show, rehearsal, or worse yet a recording session. Our picks always get lost in our pockets and placing picks between our strings can be ok except they often fall off when taking the old axe in and out of its case. These Couch Keychain Pick Holders look sharp as well as work great to make sure you always have your pick brand and gauge when you need it the most. Each Red GMC Couch Guitar Pick Holder fits onto the loop of your keychain and holds up to 5 or 6 picks. We've found these also work great to hold anything really small that's easy to lose including earplugs for when we're going to a loud show, vitamins or medicine, even our wedding ring while we paddle out into the Pacific for a quick surf. We found the last of this beautiful, late 70's or early 80's vintage vinyl at an old auto upholstery vinyl shop near us in Southern California. We were originally attracted to it because of its obviously beautifully detailed, highly embossed chevron pattern, reminiscent of Native American and Navajo style art. Someone there guessed this vintage deadstock vinyl was originally used in the old large V8 station wagons like the Oldsmobile's back in the day. We later learned that it's actually 1960 GMC Truck Upholstery Vinyl, yo that's 50 years old!!!! Wherever it's from, this pattern and texture is as amazing as the vinyl is vintage and rare. The almost western vibe has a beautiful symmetric pattern, and this thicker vintage vinyl looks brilliant as the flap folds over and snaps to the other side of the wallet.
