The Slate and Navy Navajo Cloth and Vinyl Wallet
We were climbing the towering shelves looking for vintage vinyl at our favorite automotive and upholstery warehouse near Downtown Los Angeles when we came across this beautiful Monochrome Southwestern, Native American inspired, upholstery fabric. New weaves of these types of patterns are all over the runway lately, so it was cool to find something like that, but more authentic and industrial- you know made to be strong enough to cover that 30 year old couch at your Aunt Susan's Santa Fe abode and of the original inspiration, but very 2013 at the same time. We grabbed some of this and put together these new Charcoal Navajo print Upholstery Wallets.
Like all our Couch Handmade Wallets, these wallets are built to last. The inside panels are made of the finest upholstery vinyl and all pieces are cut out by us on our 16 ton die press. The cloth outside panel is lined with an inner fabric and has a zig zag stitch run across the edges to keep the fabric strong and to minimize fraying down the road. There is a slim line parallel-spring snap that keeps everything together with a minimum profile, and there are plenty of pockets to comfortably hold up to 12 cards or so, and we hand silk-screen the inside panel of each wallet with our patterned inside design. This is a slightly larger pattern than most of our other wallets which makes it large enough to hold Euros and British Pounds. Measurements of this wallet are 9.5cm x 20cm.
The wallet closes securely with our own custom made Couch-logo parallel spring steel snaps and you're ready for action. Handmade in USA by dudes in California, on some serious heavy duty machinery with Tame Impala playing blasting on the speakers. Rock. Couch.
