We caught Los Angeles rockers Silversun Pickups at their sold out show at The Observatory in Santa Ana recently and they sounded better than ever. The band is currently touring in support of their brand new record Better Nature and they played plenty of new tunes as well as the classics. Couch Operations Captain, Matt Fry's band Happy Hollows opened up thank goodness otherwise we couldn't near never mind in the packed, sold out venue. We were really happy to see Silversun bassist Nikki Monninger is still using The Couch Straps given to her by street artist Skullphone probably a decade or so ago (and that they were still going strong!!!).
