70's GMC Vintage Cream Lattice Weave Guitar Strap

This type of lattice weave, or "Basketry Weave" patterned vinyl was common to the Automotive Industry in the 1970's and early 1980's, and helps define the era. We found this one partial role of 40 year old vinyl in an old automotive upholstery warehouse and immediately turned it into a small limited edition run of vintage vegan leather guitar straps.

Note from the pictures how this neutral vintage cream color goes great with all kinds of guitars- from Sunburst to Olympic White and beyond. The vintage woven leather look also looks really cool when it reveals its pattern in the light, and goes well with whatever you've got on. Best of all, it's unique, vintage, and Hand Made In America here at Couch. Each strap's end pieces are hand cut on a 16 ton press here at our California Workshop. We add our own custom stainless steel hardware and sew each strap together with love and Nick Lowe playing on the turntable. Also available as a Camera Strap.
