White Byloos Victorian Guitar Strap

The Byloos Victorian Artist Series White Guitar Strap!

We combined artist Matty Byloos’ sense of color and style with our attention to detail to create what has quickly become a Couch Guitar Straps classic: “The Victorian Byloos."

Matty took various bits of our favorite Victorian Era clip art and combined them with his own hand drawn lines and alterations to create the fine imagery you see hand silk-screened onto this bass strap.

He then asked that we screen it on white vinyl with black ink and sew it together with bright pink thread. So we did.

Then he asked that we put brown vinyl on the back, and use army green clips and slides for the end tabs and adjustment area. So we did.

What’s cool about this design beyond the great Victorian arches and fleur de li imagery is that, at first glance, the color scheme occurs as a subtle black on white, until the tiny details of the pink stitching on brown on the back side and army green clips on the end tabs actually make you realize that this strap is all about making a bold color statement in the most understated manner. It’s also constructed like a tank.
