This Limited Edition Racer X Guitar Strap is made of a really cool looking vintage blue vinyl we found at an old automotive upholstery shop. Although we couldn't source the exact model of car it belonged to, we imagine this type of vinyl on the seats of a souped up El Camino or early 70's Dodge charger- this stuff is tuff!!! We've done previous limited edition runs of with different vintage blues but this one may be our favorite as it has almost a bit of a blue green vibe to it. It's really a shame we couldn't find make more of these because it's such a cool and obviously vintage hue of blue that will subtly stand out on your guitar.
It has a great texture and sheen to it, and is a very thick and resilient vinyl. We sewed on a white racing stripe with white stitching, backed it in black and now it's ready for your axe. There were only and exactly 29 of these straps made ever and we have no more vinyl to make more. Each strap is hand-numbered on the tag and has a special stamp on the back side of the front tab indicating it's highly limited edition nature. Enjoy.
Note- this blue is it's own unique color, but might be a great match for most Fender shades of blue like Lake Placid Blue, Navy Blue Metallic, Cobalt Blue Trasparent, or Violet as well as Gibson Pelham Blue, Les Paul Standard "Blue", Epiphone Les Paul Standard Trans Blue, Rickenbacker Blue Burst for the 330 and 360, Danelectro DC59 Blue Burst, Ibanez AS93 Blue Sunburst etc etc.
