Like our Mustang Guitar Strap the new Mustang Belt is made from found deadstock vinyl that was used as a trunk liner for many late 60's and early 70's Ford Mustangs!
This Deadstock Mustang Trunk Liner Vinyl has a great plaid flavor to it, almost like the vintage suits the pattern-makers were emaulating back in the 60’s when it was first introduced- it seems to go with almost anything- we've been wearing ours almost every day for the last couple months.
If you note closely, this vinyl pattern is very intricate- it starts with very sublte beige stripes running across the a greyish/light blue background at 45 degree angles. Then the darker, more obvious black plaid markings offer the third detail of the vinyl opposing each other at right angles. It looks sharp man!
We add neutral yellow stitching folded edges and an all black back, with all black stitching.
There is also a removable center post slimline buckle, stainless steel metal tip and black reinforced eyelets with vegan power pad washers and vinyl discs. Get one and let us know what you think before they’re gone!
