This strap is made of actual deadstock vintage late 60’s or early 1970’s belt vinyl we dug out of an abandoned belt factory in South-Central Los Angeles. It had been sitting around gathering dust for about 30 years or so before we ran into it and made guitar straps out of it.
We think they came out great.
Notice the detail of the actual vintage embossed western print vinyl. We added to it by cutting it raw edged, backing it with the smooth black vinyl and adding our trademark double-luggage stitch up both sides. And the deadstock vintage vinyl doesn't just look cool, it's also a great way to make a cool guitar strap with recycled materials.
All black vinyl, black stitching, and black hardware. Sweatshop free, vegan, and made in USA using vintage, found, deadstock materials. Another limited edition, eco friendly product exclusive only from Couch. Rock.
