Update Winter 2011: This strap is now sold out and gone forever, we are currently looking for a new material for a new run of deadstock flower material but are as of yet to find any. When we do we'll make a version 4.
The V2 Version of this strap is now sold out and gone forever. We are now releasing the Deadstock Flowers V3 which is has the exact same deadstock flowers from the previous version, but with the subtle difference of a red colorway instead of an orange colorway in the print. We have about 60 of these and these too will be gone forever. Thanks.
This is the latest, 3rd edition version of the twice sold out, original Limited Edition Deadstock Flowers Guitar Straps. With that original deadstock vinyl gone (forever!), we were on the hunt for more vintage deadstock vinyl that inspired us to rock our guitars off just as much and we found it, but there's not much left and we have not found a replacement as of this writing.
This strap is made of 30-something-year-old flowered print vintage vinyl, and has a smoother feel than our original textured Deadstock Flowers vinyl. We've secured the last of this vintage upholstery vinyl to make these limited edition, found-material guitar straps until they're gone forever.
We love how the V2 vinyl captures all the wood colors of many classic great guitars like old Fender Telecasters or Gibson Les Paul's: blacks, whites, creams, reds, oranges fading into yellows, etc. AND it's also a great way to make a cool guitar strap with recycled materials.
This strap's inner beauty is apparent by checking its attention to detail: simple, sturdy, double stitches up the sides, all stainless steel metal hardware, our trademark die cut end tabs and hand-tooled stainless steel rivets. Army green stitching on the black vinyl, black stitching on the multi-colored 30-year-old deadstock vintage vinyl.
Always 1/2 foot longer than the average strap. Always sweatshop free, made in USA in Downtown Los Angeles, always cruelty free and vegan. Always rock tested on stage and made to rock. Couch.
