We just sold the very last of this batch with the vintage flowered vinyl on back and they are gone forever. We have done a new run with a vintage army green backing vinyl and those are in and ready to go. We will get pictures up of the new version as soon as we can. This limited edition artist series strap is all about obsessive attention to detail. When we first saw our finished product, we almost cried, but instead we just put one on our guitar. This is quite possibly the best vegan strap ever made.
It features 36 year-old deadstock vintage vinyl backing (we love using recycled products!) and stainless steel hardware and rivets. Matty Byloos’s custom made Victorian artwork is silk-screened onto the black vinyl front of this strap, and then stitched with yellow thread. The backside of the strap that has the gold and green vintage vinyl on it is stitched with black thread. You can see more of this vinyl on the reversed version of this strap here: Original Reverse Byloos.
Pictured above are Jia from Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Tegan from Tegan and Sara, and below with the 12-string is Veil Veil Vanish from San Francisco. The picture with the palm trees is a screen cap from the Showtime Television series Californication. Character Emma is pictured here with the strap on her Les Paul. The strap is seen in Episodes 2 and 3 of Season 4. Emma looks like a very young Chrissie Hynde here. Sharp!
This guitar strap is also available also in white, dark red and brown on our Artist Series Guitar Straps page.
